Introduction - Born at Ferntree Gully, near Melbourne on 2 March 1947.
- Studied art during secondary school and this included four years of the history and appreciation of art.
- Graduated as a teacher of English as a Second Language at The Australian School of Pacific Administration, Sydney.
- Commenced teaching in Papua New Guinea in 1967, and taught English and Art in secondary schools until 1973.
- Lecturer in English, Papua New Guinea College of Allied Health Sciences, Port Moresby, 1973-1979.
- Lecturer in English and Basic Studies, Popopondetta Agricultural College, Papua New Guinea, 1979-1981.
- Taught English in primary and secondary schools in Australia from 1982-1989.
- Relocated to Macau in February, 1989.

Awarded prizes for photography in the Northern Territory of Australia

1989-2001
Participated in the IACM (formerly Leal Senado) Collective Exhibition of Macau Artists

1990
Awarded third prize in a competition "Sport in Macau" organized by the Macau Institute of Sport

1994
First solo exhibition - "Fase IV" at the Portuguese Bookshop Gallery
Participated in an exhibition "Contemporary Artists of Macau" organized by the Círculo dos Amigos da Cultura at the Casa Garden Gallery
Participated in an exhibition of miniature art at the Del Bello Gallery, Toronto, Canada

1995
Second solo exhibition at the Portuguese Bookshop, Macau, organized by the Instituto Português do Oriente
His painting, "Untitled" was awarded first prize at the second Bienal de Macau

1996
Third solo exhibition at the Portuguese Bookshop, Macau, organized by the Instituto Português do Oriente
Participated with Lio Man Cheong in an exhibition at the Casa Garden Gallery
His painting "Both" was awarded first prize in the Leal Senado collective Exhibition of Macau Artists

1997
Was awarded a second prize for his painting "Untitled" at the 3rd Bienal de Macau, while his installation, "Tall Poppy" was awarded an Honorable Mention

1998
