Calligraphy lover Ho Pan, completed his
master degree of Chinese Studies in the University of
Macau. He learned Chinese calligraphy from Mr Lam Kan. Since 1980s, Ho
has attended in many exhibitions held by different art associations and
government departments in Macau and has achieved plenty of prizes. In 1983, he
was awarded the Prize of Excellency in the 1st National Engraving
Competition in China. In 1987, his calligraphic and engraving works was selected
for the International and National Exhibition of Calligraphers and Engravers. In
2001, his calligraphic work was collected by the Shandong University.
In September 2003, he and his teacher Lam Kan, Cho Sai
Keung and Sou Kam Leong held a joint exhibition. He also exhibited his
works in Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Portugal, and the United States.
